What is Brake Caliper Painting?

Brake caliper painting is a cosmetic upgrade where your calipers are cleaned, prepped and coated with a high-temperature paint made to handle brake heat. It turns dull, rusty or plain calipers into a clean, bold accent that shows through your wheels. Pick a bright color like red or yellow, a subtle OEM-style finish, or a shade that matches your paint.

Why Drivers Choose Brake Caliper Painting in Pittsburgh PA

Painted calipers are one of the most noticeable upgrades for the money. They make any wheel look sharper, cover rust and brake-dust staining, and protect the metal underneath from corrosion caused by road salt.

Benefits of our Brake Caliper Painting service

HEAT RESISTANT FINISH

We use high-temperature caliper paint made to handle the heat from hard braking, so the color won’t bubble, burn or fade.

CUSTOM COLOR CHOICE

Red, yellow, blue, black, OEM-style or matched to your paint. Choose a bold accent or a clean, subtle look.

RUST & CORROSION PROTECTION

A sealed, painted surface helps protect bare caliper metal from road salt and moisture that cause rust over Pittsburgh winters.

EASIER TO KEEP CLEAN

Smooth painted calipers wipe clean and hide brake dust staining, so your wheels look finished between washes.

Our Brake Caliper Painting Process

Every set of calipers is prepped, masked and painted by hand, so the finish looks clean, stays on, and holds up to real driving heat.

1. WHEEL REMOVAL

We safely lift the vehicle and remove the wheels so every caliper is fully exposed and can be painted properly, not rushed through the spokes.

2. DEEP CLEAN & DEGREASE

Brake dust, grease and rust are cleaned off and the calipers are degreased and scuffed, so the paint bonds to bare, clean metal.

3. MASKING

Rotors, brake lines, pads and bleeder screws are carefully masked to keep paint only where it belongs.

4. HIGH-TEMP PAINT

Multiple even coats of high-temperature caliper paint are applied for full, consistent color, with optional clear coat for extra gloss.

5. CURE & REINSTALL

The paint is cured, the wheels are reinstalled and torqued to spec, and we do a final check so everything looks clean and drives right.

DURABLE, HIGH TEMPERATURE resistant BRAKE CALIPER FINISH

Give your wheels a custom, high end look with professionally painted brake calipers. We use G2 Brush On Caliper Paint, a two part ceramic epoxy system built specifically for the extreme conditions brake components face every day. Unlike spray paints and rattle cans that can chip, fade, or discolor under heat, G2 cures into a hard, glossy, ceramic like finish that is heat resistant up to 900°F and stands up to brake fluid, brake dust, road salt, and harsh wheel cleaners. Its self leveling formula flows out smoothly for a rich, even finish without brush marks, and because it is applied by hand there is no overspray onto your rotors, suspension, or surrounding components. Every caliper starts with meticulous prep work, because a finish is only as good as the surface underneath it. Choose from a wide range of colors to match or contrast your vehicle, or create a fully custom color that is unique to you.
